We're seeking a Procurement lead/Category Manager with 2- 6 yrs of Experience to actively contribute to an exciting time of growth and development for one of our client who is the leader in Health and wellness platform. This is a fantastic career defining opportunity for someone who enjoys a role filled with variety, challenges and autonomy.  - Oversees activities related to timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of all purchased materials/products/services to avoid costly delays and lost in revenue through out-of-stock situations.   - Establishes policies and procedures that ensure the economic and quality of materials/products/services purchased.   - Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and inventory control systems to reduce cost, streamline procedures and implement solutions.   - Ensures comprehensive market analysis to determine vendor sources and product development as part of protecting our supply base.   - Ensure comprehensive and regular price benchmarking for materials/products/services to determine vendors are delivering at most reasonable cost.   - Responsible for sourcing and supplying materials/products/services, as well as coordinating with both regional and global procurement efforts.   - Ensures availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.   - Ensures appropriate and most cost effective negotiation and award of contractual purchase agreements with vendors.   - Review financial and management reports of procurement and supply chain activities and recommends changes in method and procedures based on the report outcome.   - Prepare management reports/data of procurement and supply chain from time to time as may be required by country, regional or global management.   - Meets and confers with vendor representatives to discuss price changes, trade and cash discounts and delivery arrangements.   - Ensure focus on continuous cost improvement across all business segments and timely reporting of these cost improvement activities.   - Demonstrated effective leadership of the department including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, employee development and employee relations issues.   - Other related duties assigned as needed.
