Process Lead - Audit & Reconciliation
1. The general ledger is the main accounting record of the company. Consequently, general ledger reconciliation is the process of ensuring that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct.
2. GL reconciliations are key to maintaining the integrity of a company's books and are one of the most important tasks in the closing process. Regularly review and monitor relevant GL accounts to ensure accuracy of financial reports and statements.
3. Supporting statutory, internal and Tax Audits and ensuring timely and effective resolution of all issues highlighted by Auditors. Providing all relevant schedules\ reports\information to auditors and to ensure all audit observations are closed.
4. Vendor reconciliations and balance confirmation activity to be performed as per internal / statutory auditors guidelines.
5. Accurate Bank Reconciliations of all the Bank Accounts , ensuring there are no open unreconciled entries in Banks.
6. Effective resolutions of issues highlighted by Business Units related to financial transactions flowing to GL accounts.
AP related MIS reporting to Business Units.
7. Accounts Receivable/Bad debts/Customer reconciliations and balance confirmations to be performed as per internal/ statutory guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile : CA /ICWAI with 5- 7 years experience in Audit & Reconciliation.
