Process Head - Cement Business

- Lead the overall plant operations as per company policies & guidelines.

- Oversee all the manufacturing and process excellence activities.

- Ensure optimum plant availability by facilitating and arranging all necessary resources.

- Set the production targets along with the Managing Director, based on the allocated power supply and participate in the daily decisions along with the other Dept. Head.

- Monitor the Cement plant efficiencies by conducting plant performance review meetings, providing technical inputs, reviewing shift reports and conducting inspections.

- Plan and supervise the preventive maintenance activities and ensure availability of resources in case of a breakdown.

- Ensure availability of all plant equipment, spares and raw material by reviewing and negotiating buying decisions along with the purchase department.

- Undertake and supervise various technical and quality upgradation projects in order to upgrade the technology and equipment in the Cement plant.

- Provide leadership and vision to the organization by leading Production & Maintenance (Mechanical, E&I), Preventive Maintenance teams to desired goals.

- Ensure effective Planning & Budgeting based on sales targets and Capex for improvement of the plant.

- Responsible for Environment, Health & Safety activities& fulfilment of statutory compliances in the plant.

- Refractory installation, Kiln Maintenance, understanding of working of pre heater & cooler.

- Sound knowledge of kiln operation.

- Process and optimization of the process for reducing the fuel & power consumption.

- Refractory management as per the budget.

- Maintaining the MIS of Production & Power Consumption data.

- Preparation & control of annual budget.
