Process Engineer - Loan Mortgage Firm

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Direct PMO Lending, responsibilities will include having substantial experience with standard concepts, practices and procedures in Six Sigma process improvement, the ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively from inception to completion, along with strong project and time management skills. The Process Engineer will engineer process responsibilities, capacity plan, and maximize efficiency opportunities for all departments.

- Project Management skills and experience

- Process definition including the process metrics for quality, service, cycle time, and productivity.

- Capacity Planning for headcount management based on monthly volume

- Process engineering and re-engineering based on company/compliance/market needs

- Interact with all Operations managers to develop and implement process refinements

- Articulate all work in a presentation format for Business Leaders

- Monthly monitoring of Operations performance and efficiency

- Interact with IT to articulate, promote and manage operational needs and projects

- Ability to manage multiple processes and projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a proven track record of success as a business manager and possess the following qualifications:

Preferred:

- Demonstrated ability to cross communicate at all levels of an organization

- Detail oriented with superior follow up skills

- Ability to develop and implement efficient processes and practices throughout Operations

- Develop and implement strategies to achieve production goals

Required:

- Project management experience

- Process engineering experience

- Capacity planning and efficiency maximization experience

- Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

- Work is performed in a variety of settings.

- Work schedule could vary between days, nights or weekends.

- Physical strength and manual dexterity to perform the essential functions of the position are required.

- Position requires travel or the ability to operate an automobile and provide appropriate licensing and proof of insurance.
