Principle Software Engineering Manager - IT

Key domain areas of work include:

- Collecting, parsing, managing, visualizing, storing and analyzing data at scale (aka 'big data') to turn information into insights using multiple platforms. Enable data driven decision for better customer insights.

- Building next generation apps by pushing mobile technologies to the limits. Work closely with UX and UI, product management, and other teams to conceive, design, and create unique mobile experiences

- Design and develop mission critical, highly scalable cloud based services with ground breaking engineering at scale required to take the most important customer data there is into the cloud at hyper scale and low COGs. All the while offering the best availability, latency and experience possible.

Qualifications

- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Experience in software development skills with fluency in C# or C++/Java, or relevant programming languages

- 15+ years of experience in engineering technical roles and solid results in shipping software products, with experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to final product delivery - experience shipping Microsoft products preferred.

- 3+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and build a results-oriented development team

- Ability to build credibility with senior engineers and senior management; able to earn and sustain the respect of highly technical professionals.

- Demonstrated ability to create a supportive work environment for career and personal development.

- Ability to work in a fast-changing and dynamic environment.

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including communication with executives.
