Role Overview: Ginger Partners is hiring for an autonomous vehicle company based in Bangalore. The Principal Software Architect will lead the design and development of core systems that drive the company's autonomous driving platform. This role requires deep expertise in system architecture, real-time algorithms, and high-performance computing, ensuring that the platform operates with minimal latency while maintaining computational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect Core Systems: Lead the architectural framework for autonomous vehicle (AV) systems, focusing on middleware, developer SDK, and hardware interfaces.
- System Optimization: Implement high-performance algorithms under tight latency constraints, ensuring the AV system's scalability and reliability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the platform, with a focus on testing and debugging.
- Continuous Improvement: Set up processes for continuous integration (CI), automated testing, and code review to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration while driving critical technical decisions.
- Roadmap Execution: Manage product and technology roadmaps to align with business goals and ensure milestone achievement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, machine learning libraries like PyTorch, and GPU programming.
- Experience in systems design, CI/CD, edge computing, and real-time algorithm optimization.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, interprocess communication, and error handling.
- Leadership experience in managing engineering teams within fast-paced, high-impact environments.
