Job Description :
- Manage the insurance domain as well as License Applications
- Ensuring compliance with IRDA guidelines and keeping up to date with all regulatory changes and ensuring implementation of the same in the company's Insurance business.
- Liaise with insurance companies and internal stakeholders (tech, business, QA, marketing) for smooth functioning and growth of the insurance business.
- Responsible for product, MIS, and operations.
- Setup processes for the Insurance business both Offline, Online, Trade as per IRDA norms
- Timely reporting of IRDA reports
- Represent the company during IRDA Audits, Hearings, etc
- Guide and advise the management on the Insurance business
- Ensure judicious use of natural resources
- Adhere to the environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization
Experience : 8-10 years of experience preferably in Insurance industry preferably in a broker set-up playing the role of Principal Officer handling Travel, Health, Motor & Life Insurance
Knowledge & Key Skills :
- Should have knowledge of applying for the IRDA licenses and procuring the same
- Sound knowledge of insurance products and business.
- Valid IRDA training certification is a mandatory requirement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferably from a start-up and used to working in a high-paced environment.
- Good PR relationship skills
