Principal - Investment - Renewables Sector

The Principal will provide transaction support of a broad range to Investment Directors and Managing Directors within the investment team. The job will be focused on transaction execution, but will also offer the opportunity to take a broader role in the negotiation and closing of deals and in post-transaction asset management support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to identify potential investment opportunities.

- Perform financial modelling, valuation, and risk analysis to assess the feasibility and profitability of potential investments.

- Collaborate with senior team members in structuring deals and preparing investment memos for presentation to the investment committee.

- Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, including analyzing financial statements, legal documentation, and impact assessments.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments in the renewable energy sector to inform investment strategies.

- Prepare regular reports and updates on investment performance for internal stakeholders and investors.

- Mentor and operationally manage analyst-level team members.
