Principal - Data Engineering - Data Management & Engineering Delivery - Pharma Business

At one of the fastest-growing global Analytics and Engineering Consulting firms,we are looking for Principal - Data Engineering to lead the Data Management & Engineering delivery for the Pharma business.

To Be a pivotal part of changing how companies execute enterprise-wide data initiatives. Must-have skills include expertise in Data Management, Cloud Platforms, and Engineering, while experience in Pharma analytics and leadership in projects involving tools like Snowflake, PowerBI, and AWS/Azure is a plus.

Requirements:

- BE/BS/M.Tech/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.

- 14+ years of experience in delivering engineering projects across data, cloud & products.

- 5+ years of experience in building scalable enterprise data ecosystems on cloud (AWS/Azure)

- Expertise in data structures, distributed computing, manipulating, and analyzing complex high-volume data from variety of internal and external sources.

- Experience in developing ETL designs and data models for structured/unstructured and streaming data sources.

- Experience in data migration to cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Proficient in programming language such as Python/Scala

- Good understanding of in relational/dimensional modelling and ETL concepts

- Solid working knowledge of SQL and scripting

- Strong experience in database, data warehouse & data lake design & architecture

- Experience in Big Data ecosystem - on-prem (Hortonworks/MapR) or Cloud (Dataproc/EMR/HDInsight)

- Exposure to latest cloud ETL tools such as Glue/ADF/Dataflow

- Exposure to projects on Spark Streaming, Kafka and Hbase

- Experience in any orchestration tool such as Airflow/Oozie
