A major consulting firm seeking a Principal consultant for its Operations consulting practice.
Prime responsibilities would be:
- To generate new business leads from existing client relationships all relevant practices like HR, Supply Chain etc.
- Lead business development initiatives from lead identification, design, plan and execute diagnostics /scoping studies, proposal development and negotiations and final conversion
- Design of consulting approach and various interventions by using tools like Manufacturing Excellence, BPR, Six-Sigma, TPM, Lean, Change Management etc.
- Lead consulting teams over long term assignments – Analysis of current situation through qualitative and quantitative analysis, identification of appropriate business solutions and implementation of the same in partnership with client teams.
- Design and deliver appropriate senior management level workshops during the consulting assignments
- Review project performance of client teams along with client top management and provide appropriate insights
- Design roles for consulting teams and review of their performance
- Identify resources requirement for the project and ensure that no overrun happen
- Expense management – budgeting, allocating, review and control
- Receivable management – Invoice /Db note raising and receivable management
- Develop new products in line with industry need
- Coach and guide the consulting team at every step from long distance
- Identify improvement areas and strengths of subordinate consultant and coach them to improve the gaps and enhance the strengths
- Build and continuously update Domain Knowledge in the PHARMA area.
- Seek people having similar experience in the PHARMACEUTICAL sector or from a consulting background.
