Principal Associate - Litigation - Law Firm/Bank

About the Role:

A reputed law firm is seeking a Principal Associate for its Litigation Practice in Mumbai & Delhi. This role requires a seasoned disputes lawyer with extensive experience handling high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration before the Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, and other tribunals. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategizing cases, leading teams, and managing client relationships independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading complex litigation and arbitration mandates independently

- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, petitions, legal opinions, and strategic advisories

- Representing clients before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies

- Engaging with senior counsel, external experts, and government authorities

- Managing client relationships and advising on dispute resolution strategies

- Mentoring and supervising junior associates, ensuring high-quality legal work

Who Should Apply?

- 8-12 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution at a reputed law firm

- Strong expertise in commercial litigation, arbitration, regulatory matters, and white-collar crime

- Proven ability to lead teams, manage clients, and develop litigation strategies

- Exceptional legal drafting, research, and advocacy skills

- Prior experience in handling infrastructure, banking, and corporate disputes is an advantage
