Principal Architect - IT

- We're looking for someone with 12+ years of experience in the software industry. As a Technical Architect the person should have the expertise to design, develop, deploy and maintain our tech stack.

Job responsibilities:

- Provide technical thought leadership while collaborating with peers, and communicate with all stakeholders.

- Proven experience in building large scale backend (~ million of qps) in Node.js

- Experience working with NoSQL databases and search engines such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch and performance tuning them

- Experience working with SQL databases like mysql and performance tuning them

- Experience in designing and implementing secure and RESTful web service APIs

- Experience in designing scalable queuing system like rabbitmq/kafka

- Experience in deploying on AWS/GCP

- Experience in building and maintaining a large-scale, high-availability web application with a growing user base

- Experience in working on microservices based architecture using Node.js, Docker

- Proven track record of architecting distributed solutions dealing with real time communication with clients

- Experience working with Business Intelligence teams and Data Scientists

- Good understanding of network security, data security and privacy concerns

- Good understanding of tcp/ip stack protocols

- Able to Benchmark systems, analyse system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them

- Able to perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing the solution

- Understanding of JavaScript, HTML & CSS, jQuery, Angular or similar JS libraries

- Able to work in a fast-paced/startup agile development environment
