We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Principal Architect with previous experience in datacenter and IT Infrastructure technologies, specialization in Data Networking.

Experience- 12 yrs – 18 yrs

Job Location - Bangalore

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Ability to design and deploy desktop virtualization and mobile device management solutions considering all aspects including Compute, Storage, Bandwidth, Policies, Streaming, security.

- Good experience in VMware and Citrix based VDI Solutions designs and implementation

- Sound understanding of application virtualization technologies (App-V, Citrix XenApp)

- Good working exposure to any of the following MDM Solutions - Tangoe / Afaria / Airwatch / MobileIron

- Should have a flair to design solutions for given problems, considering all aspects (Technology, adaptability, cost) of success.

- Should have experience in deploying softphones, application streaming in VDI environments

- 10 to 18 years of experience in the industry

- Good communication, presentation skills

- Should be willing to travel on short-term basis

Job Description:

- Work with pre-sales, sales, and consulting team to understand desktop and application virtualization opportunities, and design solutions and bill of material.

- Work with various project delivery teams to identify opportunities to assess, optimize client’s desktop infrastructure.

- Design / Improvise desktop virtualization solutions and mobile device management solutions, that can would be taken to market as a part of iGATE’s GTM Strategy

- Watch out for emerging trends around VDI, Application Virtualization and Mobile device management.

- Lead deployment team during execution phase, till operationalization.

- Support operations team on complex technical scenarios.

- Train / Mentor various project members on technologies and methodologies

- Own up the role of a technology evangelist for VDI & MDM Solutions.

- Evaluate / run POCs on emerging technologies

- Perform assessments on client’s environment and propose roadmaps on desktop and application virtualization

- The role is that of an individual contributing technocrat, with a volatile team size of 4 to 5 architects
