Principal Architect - Hadoop/Big Data - Core Java & Spring - Investment Bank

We are hiring for one of the leading investment bank for the below skill sets:-

Your Responsibilities

As a Principal Architect, your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide technical leadership in the area of work

- Design and develop high quality, scalable and maintainable code using java/j2ee/scala for distributed systems

- Must have worked on a big data estate and has working knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem or Apache Spark

- Understanding the functional requirements and breaking them into technical deliverable

Collaborating with globally distributed teams in India, London and Bulgaria

- Mentor other junior developers on the team

The Skills you- ll need

In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:

- 10+ years of IT development experience in Java/J2EE and/or Scala

- Experience on Java, spring, hibernate, concurrent programming, maven, unix shell scripting

- Must have worked on a big data estate and has knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem or Apache Spark

- Expertise in building large scale distributed systems, working closely with the global stakeholders

- Strong communication and influencing skills

- Preferably experience working in captive or product development working with global teams

- Prior experience building solutions for investment banking, or financial domain will be an added advantage.
