General Requirements
- Must have played as a lead solution architect or solution integrator for medium to large deals (Deal sizes in the range of $20M to $100M in TCV, Apps or Infra or both).
- Must have a proven track record of handling medium to large competitive deals and successful closure of deals of this size and complexity.
- Must have strong exposure to one or more of the markets - USA, Europe and APAC.
- Strong background in one of the industry domains (Retail, Financial services, Healthcare, etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership in Pre-sales, Solution strategy/Architecture/Integration, Costing and proposal defense.
- Works closely with business developers, account managers and executive management to develop the solutions to - win- new business.
- Promotes use of strategic solutions and offerings by the business development community and provides support to sales/proposal teams.
- Oversees all aspects of solution development, architecture and management processes from concept ideation through development, launch and maintenance
- Responsible for Solution integration, cost modelling and obtaining the approvals from the business line approvers
- Leads/participates in customer workshops during the pre-sales/solution phase, and presentations and solution defense activities post proposal submission
- Can influence in the negotiations with the customer for deal closure
Technical Background (one of the below at the minimum)
- Strong solution architecture background in IT Outsourcing
- Strong solution architecture background in ADM services
- Strong solution architecture background in Next-gen offerings like Cloud / Big Data, etc.
- Multi-offering Solution Integration and Transformation
Qualification
- Bachelors/Masters in Engineering or Management education from tier 1 institutes
- Overall about 15-20 years of IT services experience with background in Delivery, Solutions and Client facing roles, from tier 1 organizations.
- Willingness to travel and work late hours as the job requires
- Excellent inter personal skills and negotiation skills
- Stake holder management and never give-up attitude
