Key Responsibility :
- Ensure timely preparation of responses, written statements, replies and brief the legal counsels /firms so as to make effective representation before the courts
- Represent the organization on occasions when counsel is not required to appear before various quasi-judicial authorities i.e to attend and appear before Consumer/RERA Courts
- Respond to legal queries received from other internal Departments in a timely manner
- Coordinate with Relevant internal Departments to collect relevant documents/ proofs/statements
- Supporting other functions including Sales & CRM in Contract drafting
- Litigation Management including Preparation of Legal MIS, Dealing with Advocates, Law Firms, Visiting to High Courts, Supreme Court and arbitration, Tribunals Monitoring and related advisory, briefing Advocates as well as Management on the litigations
- Preparing and finalizing various Case Papers including Plaint, Written Statement, Writ Petition, Appeals and Affidavits & Arbitral Claim.
- Interaction with other teams and arranging data therefrom which is required for legal team.
- Drafting of legal notices and replies
- Adherence to TAT for responding to Legal notices received from Courts
- Minimize penalties owing to delayed response
- Put forth the view of the management before concerned Authorities
- Discuss and negotiate an amicable resolution of matters before the mediation center and through engaging counsel of the opposite party
Requirement :
- Legal Risk Management.
- Good knowledge of Real Estate Laws, Contracts Act, Transfer of Property Act, Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Court Procedure.
- Understanding of Land Acquisition Process and recovery of advances;
- General litigation advisory;
