Reports: Regional Pricing Manager, Asia South
Summary:
Leverage deep data analytics and data mining skills to deliver insights that will optimize pricing & profitability, enable the realization of the deal desk, and drive margin expansion regionally. Reporting to Pricing managers, the pricing specialist will be responsible and accountable for all quantitative analysis and meeting price targets.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Chemical Engineering is necessary. MS or Certificate courses in analytics are preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant quantitative analytics experience.
- Leadership Capabilities: Must have proven capability in the following - Team Builder, People Developer, Planning & Execution Facilitator, Relationship Builder, and Business Expert.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with conflicting requests, and prioritizing work requests.
Responsibilities:
Pricing and Deal Modeling/Shaping (DEAL DESK)
Product Management and Optimization
Track PPV trend with hub and PMs to provide clear information for price manager to work with sales leaders on a price increase plan
Pricing performance monitoring and reporting:
- Improvement opportunities - Develop, optimize and manage SBU and CAM/GSA analytics models and create analytic Models & Dashboard Optimization
- Develop, optimize and manage SBU and CAM/GSA analytics models and create and optimize dashboards for BU management
- Perform analysis for monthly reporting of pricing performance for various parts of the regional business
Pricing Administration
- Maintain active prices for all products and customers teaming when PFX doesn't work
- Manage contracts, monitor lifecycle, price opener calendar and price improvement opportunities
