Job Description for Pricing Manager Level
Education Qualifications -
- CA/MBA with minimum 5-7 years - experience in Pricing, RFP/deal reviews, contract reviews and MIS/FP&A.
- Working knowledge of the financial aspects of a professional services firm along with good understanding of financial accounting as this role will involve coordinating with the Central Finance teams
- Candidate should have experience in handling a team of minimum 2-3 resources
Computer Knowledge:
- Advanced Knowledge and experience in Excel, Powerpoint and MS Word is a must
- Should have worked on large databases
- Knowledge of Macros and VBA would be a plus
Behavioural/ Soft Skills:
- Smart in communication/Confident/Strong oral and written communication skills
- Should be able to work under high pressure situation with cross country stakeholders
- Should have the ability to quickly turnaround the required output/report under high pressure work environment
- Eye for detail and should be very analytical
- Balance multiple priorities by measuring impact on business, importance and urgency for him/herself and for the immediate team
- Ability to understand new financial aspects / systems and transfer the knowledge to other team members
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships, both with the stakeholders as well as other arms of the enabling organization for inputs, reports, submissions etc
Role involves:
- Building and reviewing the commercial construct for Large multi country RFPs/Deals including pricing and financial modelling based on inputs from project teams
- Working with multiple country stakeholders within to support deal pricing from a financial perspective including seeking approvals from Leadership
- Working with the country specific finance teams to construct billing rate cards and cost rates specific to large SI/Managed services deals
- Working with the Region leadership in creating a center of excellence for commercial pricing and streamline the processes
- Creating and reviewing dashboard on performance and execution of deals and coordinating with country specific finance teams on the P &L impact
- Analysing wins/losses across multiple deals to improving deal pricing across various region
- Creating and reviewing performance dashboards for a particular service lines with variance analysis
- Work with relevant Partner group to understand the reasons for deviation against plan
- Coordinating and engaging with FMA team and Engagement Manager / Partner to understand Revenue & Sales Pipeline, AR and WIP Outstanding for Engagements
- Preparing presentations for Quarterly /Mid Year / Annual Project Performance Reviews with leadership teams
- Preparing Accountwise performance summaries for key accounts
- Preparing and finalising the annual plans, implementing initiatives and reporting
