Job Description :
As Pricing Manager, you will report to Revenue Operations Head. You would be responsible to enforce and establish clear rules, processes and tools including commercial data evaluation templates factoring contextual variables such as product, geography, customer and competition to guide pricing working with the business to maximize margins and long-term benefits.

Description:
As Pricing Manager, your key responsibilities would be:
1. Operate pricing/discounting planning process to develop detailed execution plans on pricing incorporating forecasts, targets, trade programmes, competitive scenarios, value delivery and implementation challenges
2. Monitoring, tracking and reporting progress in pricing execution and developing action plans to leverage new developments and mitigating new risks
3. Maximize margins by partnering with Marketing and Commercial leaders working to develop customer segment specific pricing strategies in line with the business growth strategy
4. Recommend and implement optimal pricing strategies (Customer segmentation, go-to-market models, service levels and channel strategy, commercial data strategy and price book management) that are specific to various product, portfolio, customer segments and profit pools within the business
5. Drive pricing discipline and prevent margin leakage by establishing and refining a world-class pricing operating model
6. Deploy strict business rules for pricing and work with businesses to track and monitor compliance and corrective actions on violations
7. Drive pricing discipline through deployment of pricing system and managing strict adherence to price quoting and discounting processes, price books, approvals as per DOA.
8. Leverage pricing system for advance analytics of margins (pricing waterfall) and management of smart rebates, seasonal schemes and other best practices
9. Build and leverage a competitive intelligence database that guides businesses on pricing strategies and associated risks of actions
10. Upgrade and optimize analytics models for businesses (Calculators, P&L models, Price Models, etc.) and the creation and optimization of dashboards around price volume and mix management
Profile:
As the ideal candidate, you are a CA / MBA Finance & Analytics with 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in manufacturing MNCs would be an added advantage.
