Job Description:

Company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager for Pricing and Promotion Strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and optimizing our pricing and promotion strategies to enhance profitability, sales volume, and market competitiveness. The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years of experience in pricing and promotion management, a deep understanding of the industry landscape, and a proven track record of driving successful pricing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Competitive Analysis: Collaborate with Zonal SPOCs to gather and monitor competitive activities in the market and analyze the competitive landscape and establish a strategic cadence for scheme discussions with different zones.

- Scheme Modelling: Build a comprehensive understanding of schemes, variations by geography, product lines, SKU focus.

- Study inputs from Finance and Commercial teams to provide insights on budget allocation for schemes and incentives.

- Prepare Gross to Net laddering of products for both retail and digital channels.

- Develop pricing models to evaluate scheme costing by product category and geography for comparison with budgeted numbers.

- Monthly Scheme Planning: Spearhead discussions on all retail and digital schemes . Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to propose structure of dealer scheme and capture inputs from Zonal Heads, SnOP targets.

- Create scenarios to illustrate the potential impact of various pricing and promotion strategies on margins, costs, profitability, and sales volume. Propose pricing and promotion changes to top management, leading discussions on all retail and digital schemes.

- Custodian of all historical pricing and promotion changes.

Qualifications:

- CA/ MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in pricing and promotion strategy

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Proven track record of successfully implementing pricing strategies.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and business modelling.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
