SUMMARY OF ROLE: In the role of Pricing Analyst, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the pricing strategy for our esteemed micro-motion product range across our clientele. You'll develop a comprehensive understanding of our operations, ensuring top-tier service delivery for both standard and customized solutions.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Production with 4-5 years of experience OR
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Production combined with an MBA in Marketing and over 3 years of relevant experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure top-tier service levels through pricing strategies, aiming for high customer scorecard ratings and fostering profitable revenue growth.
- Devise and implement pricing strategies aligned with our product positioning and strategic objectives.
- Establish streamlined processes and tools to enhance the quality of techno-commercial proposals and reduce turnaround time for customers.
- Assist in the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, maintaining site forecasts and working closely with Finance, Sales, Product Management, and Operations teams to achieve financial targets.
- Aid the Global Product Management team in effectively implementing 80/20 product strategies at operational sites.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying initiatives for product cost optimization through the execution of techniques such as Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE), and productivity enhancements.
- Participate in the review process of customer contracts/ agreements to ensure alignment on commercial matters.
