Analyst - Functional Analytics
- Work on various pricing engagements (strategy/analysis/ modeling) including:
- Price elasticity: Contribute in building in-house elasticities and validate the elasticities built by an external vendor
- Competitive Pricing: The competitive pricing scorecard utilizes data from an external vendor to measure how Lowe's is priced in comparison to its major competitors.
- The candidate will work on the weekly scorecard and provide value-add which can be consumed by the business. He/she will also work with the ADE team on the automation of the project in Micro Strategy
- Promotion optimization: Improve promotion management by enabling the business to execute more effective and profitable promotion plans using optimized offers
- Other pricing initiatives like surgical pricing - Also, the role will require working on other retail functions apart from pricing as and when projects come up
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering/Statistics - 1-5 Years of analytics work experience
- Experience in working on complex SQLs and data extraction processes using data tools like SQL Assistant, Teradata etc.
- Experience working on SAS EG/EM and various statistical modeling techniques
- Experience in pricing is preferable but not mandatory
