Role : President / Group Vice President - Trading (Commodities)
Location : Delhi NCR
Job Overview:Strategic direction and operations of multiple business units ( for Commodities Trading) and works closely with the CEO and MD and key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of the group's vision, mission, and goals with the overall corporate strategy.
Job Role:1. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships, internationally, to expand the group's portfolio and revenue streams.
2. Leading and managing the group's business development, export/import, trade finance, and raw material commodity functions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
3. Develop and implement strategies for new products and services to drive business growth and profitability in Various Commodities (Cross Selling Border)
4. Developing and implementing the group's strategic plan and annual budget, in collaboration with the CEO and MD.
5. Representing the group and its interests in external events, meetings, and negotiations with customers, suppliers, investors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
6. Worked on commodities trading. Conceptualize integrated marketing strategy enabling accomplishment of business targets. Implement innovative strategies and set up trading partnerships with major players in the market to cater to forecasted business growth
7. Develop strategies for managing commodity price risks.
8. Monitor commodity market trends and analyze their impact on business operations. Instrumental in updating Commodity Movement on daily/weekly/monthly basis. (Coal, Steel & consumables, - Strategizing / consolidating the requirements & collaborating with Team for better negotiation on price / delivery and entering long term contract for price benefit.
9. Ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply of high-quality raw materials.
10. Managing the optimal department purchasing strategies, Budget, Future Business Plan, pre-qualification criteria and finalization of orders as per the company's directives and participating in setting up the purchasing policy and strategy for Projects
Educational Qualification / Work Experience / Skills :- MBA / B.E. with min. 22 to 30 years of experience in trading business.( for Commodities )
- Highly experienced in strategic planning, implementation of strategies to increase sales and the bottom-line profit, business unit development and identifying deficiencies and potential opportunities in the market space, along with an ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals to perform at their optimum capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence others.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and challenging situations.
