President/COO - Operations - Steel

Responsibilities:

- Guiding the enabling functions for planning and execution

- Plan and supervise the achievement of output, cost, efficiency and quality targets

- Investigate and monitor plant performance, analyze shortfall and abnormalities, debottlenecking of critical operations

- Lead the enabling functions viz., production, logistics, dispatch, invoicing, administration for seamless customer deliverables

- Ensure on time availability of indirect material through competitive buying;

- Study the feasibility, analyze the processes for best practices implementation

- Collaborate with technical functions and sales to improve customer satisfaction

- Negotiate and finalize techno-commercial agreements, contracts, and partnerships with clients, vendors, suppliers and other stakeholders

Qualification:

Engineering graduate (preferred) from an institute of repute and relevant experience in steel products segment
