President - Commercial - Stainless Steel Products

- Responsible for leading all commercial activities of Stainless Steel (SS) product lines, including but not limited to raw material procurement, production planning and sales & marketing.

- Raw Material Procurement

- Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for procuring of raw materials and supplies for SS product lines and developing vendor relationships, to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.

- Analyse market trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities & threats and recommend adjustments to the company's strategy as needed to minimize impact due to increasing raw material costs.

Production Planning & Sales:

1. Liaise with SS production heads and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and coordination for raw material availability.

2. Provided strategic support towards the Minimum Requirements Planning for SS product lines and ensure availability of materials to execute the same.

3. Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.

4. Maintain sales pipeline for Stainless Steel products to ensure continuous optimum cashflow.

5. Lead and manage the sales team, including but not limited to setting periodic targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed.

6. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and negotiate contracts and agreements as necessary.

7. Identify and develop new customer bases.

General Administration:

1. Monitor and manage the financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for the SS product line.

2. Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team, including training, and coaching employees to achieve their full potential.

3. Receive and analyze periodic reports for the SS product lines to validate performance figures and develop data-based decisions, recommendations and strategies, as and when required.

Desired Qualifications : bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Desired Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and commercial operations, preferably in stainless Steel industry.

- 5+ years of experience in leadership role

Functional Skills :

- Deep understanding of sales and marketing principles, along with procurement, logistics, and supply chain management.

- Deep knowledge of the stainless-steel industry and the ability to analyze market trends and competitive activity.

- Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

- Experience of leading one of the following verticals: Raw material procurement, sales & marketing, or logistics
