Presales Role - Automotive
Role Summary:
Seeking a talented and experienced Presales Specialist with expertise in the medical / life sciences / healthcare domain. As a Presales Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing product demonstrations, and crafting compelling solutions to meet the needs of prospective clients. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the response process for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all required documentation.
- Ability to proposal writing, bid management, effort management, presentation, proposal defense with customer
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their unique challenges, goals, and requirements.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations.
- Collaborate with the sales and product teams to develop tailored solutions that address customer needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients during the pre-sales process.
- Customize proposals and presentations to align with customer requirements and maximize competitiveness.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, including solution architectures, pricing models, and implementation timelines.
- Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and enhance our product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer success, to drive successful customer outcomes.
- Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including training and knowledge sharing sessions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a presales or technical sales role, preferably in the automotive transportation domain.
- Deep understanding of automotive technologies such as connected vehicles, autonomous driving, electrification, and telematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate client requirements into comprehensive solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with automotive OEMs, suppliers, or related companies.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and agile practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the automotive industry.
