Details:
- The Pre-Sales Consultant's role is to lay the groundwork for their sales team to be successful, including interacting with various global business teams to craft pitches/proposals / workshop plans for Sales Executives to use in the field.
- (S)he will act as the sales support throughout the entire sales process for customers across the globe.
- (S)he must have completed post-graduate studies, preferably in IT or an MBA, with 4-7 years of work experience.
Must-Have:
- Expertise in handling bids on MS Dynamics AX/NAV/ERP platforms.
- A consultative mindset to look at the - big picture- by identifying the client's pain areas/business problems, come out with multiple solution options, and propose optimal solutions to the client.
- Ability to go beyond the stated requirements and think out-of-the-box to present new ideas that deliver tangible business benefits.
- Ability to craft a customized proposal and a differentiated storyline - keeping the client requirements, competition, and organization's core strengths in mind.
- A passion to take complete ownership of the bid with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Basic understanding of the SDLC, project management, loading, team structure.
- Ability to do required research on client/industry/competition/technology/domain.
- Ability to identify the different stakeholders required to create a response in line with a customer's problem statement.
- Ability to effectively lead diverse teams, set expectations, review collaterals, and escalate (when necessary)
- Ability to challenge the collateral that comes from various stakeholders in the bid team, by asking the right questions and making sure that the collateral addresses the client requirements
- Basic designing skills to present the content effectively to clients/prospects.
- Attention to detail: grammar, formatting, and aesthetics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills.
- Experience working with MS Office (Word and PowerPoint)
Good to have:
- Should be updated with the latest technology trends.
- Experience in engaging with cross-functional teams such as Delivery, Resource Management, Technology CEOs, Sales, HR, Legal, and others.
- Experience working across, or willing to learn and work across, multiple verticals, multiple technologies, and multiple geographies.
- Experience creating new/original collateral for a dynamic, growing organization.
- Experience moderating bid discussions with clients.
- Experience having worked in delivery roles previously is a plus, preferably including client interactions.
- Experience in working with global clients and globally distributed teams.
