Predictive/Business Analytics Role - Banking Domain

Opportunity For Predictive/ Business Analytics- Bank

Candidate will be leading one of the analytics vertical - Portfolio & Product Analytics /Rural/Collections/ MSME & Wholesale/ Model Monitoring & Validations

Key Responsibilities :

1. Play a critical role in designing, developing and implementation of analytical solutions,

2. Perform data analytics and keen to learn/explore new techniques,

3. Perform exploratory analysis using structured/unstructured data,

4. Oversee and build statistical models/scorecards within specified timelines,

5. Coordinate with various internal teams - IT, Credit, Product, Business etc,

6. Co-ordinate & work with external partners - Bureau, data aggregators/agencies and other analytics vendors on projects basis,

7. Bring fresh ideas to the table and keen observers of trends on analytics and financial services industry,

8. Work on variety of projects of different nature - Credit Risk, Business, Product, Data Management etc

Skills :

1. Strong knowledge of Banking/Financial Services domain,

2. Strong problem-solving skills and data analytics (credit risk/marketing/product),

3. Ability to investigate business issues and identify technical root causes,

4. Ability of work on multiple projects of different nature and self- driven,

Technical Skills :

a. Statistical - Logistic regression, Decision Tree, Exposure to AI/machine learning approaches would be plus

b. Strong programming skills (at least one of SAS/R/Python), SQL, Angoss, Excel & MS office skills etc

Preferred qualifications & experience :

1. MBA/BE, with work experience up 6+ years in Analytics, Model building & Data Management

2. Masters - Statistics/Mathematics, with work experience 7+ years in Modelling & data analytics.

3. Work experience with analytics consulting (into financial services), Indian Bank's/NBFCs, Fullerton, L&T, Tata, in-house analytics units or Fintech/analytics start-ups would be a plus.
