Job Title : Chief Finance Officer

Job description :

The chief financial officer (CFO) is responsible for all financial matters of Prasad Group. The CFO will report to and work closely with the CEO. In addition, he will partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement business strategies across the organization. He must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace while managing a finance staff.

Job Responsibility :

- The CFO for India will have responsibility to provide vision and leadership for all aspects of the finance function including the company's financing arrangements, capital strategy, strategic planning, risk management, investor relations, project finance, investment banking, business performance, compliance, reporting and relationship management.

- The CFO will also be responsible, along with structured finance head for India to raise project level debt and equity for projects and will be responsible for liquidity and cash management. A full strength finance team such as FP&A, Treasury, and Taxation & Financial controller will be supporting the CFO.

- Manage Overseas Subsidiaries.

- The overall financial management, business analysis budgeting and reporting (internal and external).

- Ensuring that tax and regulatory payments, returns and filing are up to date and compliant.

- Annual Budgeting - lead annual budgeting process and business planning across the Group, including run out budgets.

- Financial Processes & Controls - Identifying and implementing best practice to make the company's financial processes and controls more efficient and effective.

- Preparing reports as required for Audit Committee, Executive Committee, Group Board, India Board, company's senior management.

- Preparation of monthly forecasts and accounts, monitoring against budget and reporting variances to the MD and CEO

- Preparation of quarterly consolidated accounts.

- Maintain on a contentious basis a forecast of the short term and long term funding requirements based on growth plans and ensure funding arrangements are in place to meet business expansions and operational requirements.

- Cash-flow Management / Treasury - Forecast, monitor and control the company's receipts and payments to ensure these are optimized and in line with submitted cash flow forecasts

- Manage finance for Overseas Subsidiaries (i.e. US, Japan, Germany, Cairo and Dubai) ensuring timetables are met and fully compliant with group guidelines.

- Manage and oversee transfer pricing procedures and processes to ensure compliance

- Responsible for TDS compliances including preparation and submission of relevant returns

- Responsible for service tax, VAT and GST, as applicable, compliances including preparation and submission of relevant returns

- Management of Auditor relationship in Asia Pacific, US and Middle East

Desired Qualifications :

- Chartered Accountant/Post Graduate in Accountancy with 15 + years of experience.

- Minimum 5 years as CFO / Finance Controller for Reputed Organization.

- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.

Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills
