This position will be responsible for the development and growth of Prahri channel and work in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment with the aim of enabling the Field Sales Force in winning new business as well as implementing key interventions for the growth of the channel's P&L.
The incumbent will create, design solutions/contests/campaign etc. in partnership with Marketing & Products Team and sales plans that best fits the field sales requirement and end customer's needs. The person will also establish stringent Reviews to ensure that Field Sales force is aligned on key performance metrics/goals for the channel.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Create strategic business opportunities for field through regular meetings with key influencers and senior officials. Liasoning with Central Armed Police Forces Headquarters
- Opening up of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) / Para Military Forces (PMF) cantonments through personal meetings with officials and facilitating worksites regularly.
- Create entry barriers for competition by developing branches / regions in collaboration with Zonal Business Heads (ZBH- s) through timely inputs and ring-fencing against external poaching / attrition.
- Driving business numbers through timely strategic interventions with and through ZBH's.
- Ensuring correct and timely inputs for maintaining desired APR and 13th month persistency.
- Develop workable sales budgets/plans for the specific sales channel and establish implementation plans and realistic cost structures in partnership with Zonal Heads (ZH- s).
- Collaborates with the Zonal Heads, on preparation of marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for the field sales force
- Responsible for creating channel's vision, cost structure, and management structures in partnership with CRO and ZBH's while providing strategic leadership, accountability and mentorship to the overall channel strategy.
- Develop in collaboration with the Marketing / Products team, innovative and / or differentiating products, contests, campaign and services for business growth and motivation of field sales force.
- Identify the right Business Development opportunities / Relationship building across industry sectors /consumer segments /Institutions etc. that aligns with the Channels- ongoing growth strategy.
- Develop integrated marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet and exceed the business goals.
- Responsible for an oversight on Channel's P&L /Cost structures and hand holds ZBH's on managing it well.
- Monitoring and enforcing new business risk and constraints (schedule / scope / resources).
- Drive higher productivity through necessary - Input Management- for field sales force.
- Will also spearhead any strategic level interventions for growth of Channel across all Zones.

Qualifications (Must haves) :
- Should compulsorily be from the Defence forces (Army, Central Armed Police Forces or PMF)
- Must have 5-10 years of experience at an Officer level grade.
- Must have 5-10 years of corporate experience post his stint in defence forces:
- Rich experience in Defence Sales is preferred.
- Candidate having experience sales (Retail and Institutional) at a level of Area Head or above can be considered.
- Candidates having experience at a Branch Manager shall not be considered.
- We can also evaluate candidates who belong to a Defence forces family but should be having a strong retail sales at a senior level.
