- At present, Praja App assumes a crucial role in supporting politicians by offering a comprehensive suite of digital identity verification and marketing tools, effectively serving as a digital SaaS for them. This not only establishes their credibility but also enables seamless connections with voters in their specific locations. Committed to delivering a customized experience, we strive to provide a dedicated platform that enhances political figures' visibility, fosters meaningful engagement with constituents, and amplifies their impact on community affairs.

Role Overview : As the Lead of Sales and Community, you will play a key role in shaping the growth and success of Praja App. You will lead a dedicated team of 15+ professionals, combining the strengths of sales and community functions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets, building high-performing teams, and developing innovative approaches to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership:

- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of 15+ members from the sales and community domains.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that aligns with the organization's goals.

Revenue Generation:

- Develop and execute robust strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

- Identify market trends, understand user insights, and devise innovative revenue-generating ideas.

Sales Management:

- Oversee the sales team's activities, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with the team to build and manage a strong sales funnel.

Community Engagement:

- Drive community engagement initiatives to enhance the user experience and strengthen community bonds.

- Work closely with the community team to build a thriving and active user base.

Innovation and Growth:

- Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively identify opportunities for innovation.

- Build and expand teams by adding qualified individuals to the current funnel.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management or business development, with a preference for candidates who have worked in startups.

- Educational background from premier institutions like IIT, BITS, NIT or IIMs is advantageous and preferred.

- Proven experience in a leadership role with a focus on either sales or community management

- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

- Solid understanding of sales techniques, strategies, market dynamics, and customer behavior.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather market intelligence and translate it into actionable plans.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering results

- Possession of an MBA qualification is considered a valuable asset.

- Proficiency in the Telugu language is advantageous and preferred.
