Blend360's Data Engineering Practice Head will be a self-starting, motivated individual with knowledge of engineering best practices and building the practice from scratch and scaling to success with long run vision. This position is for our Global Centre of Data Science Excellence in India.

Key Responsibilities :

In this role, you will be responsible for strategy development, Practice management, Business & technology consulting. And you will be responsible for setting up and building Data Engineering practice, focusing on Python, multi-cloud data services, solutioning development, competency development and pipeline management.

Additionally, you will :

- Be closely working with Global Data Engineering leaders to understand business needs

- Responsible for building high-performance teams and mentoring of resources in the practice for both in terms of the subject knowledge as well as career choices.

- Will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in the Data Engineering during the pursuit process and during project execution

- To design Business Strategy, responsible for P&L, People, Delivery, Solutions, Consulting as well as Customer, Vendor & Analyst relationships for Data Engineering practice in India.

- Will be responsible for regular delivery reviews and oversight of engagements.

- Being the go-to person for Onsite and Off-shore team for any Data engineering related

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of hand on experience in Data Engineering and Data Analytics

- 5+ years of experience in programming Python, Database, and any Cloud platform

- Experience in contributing to engineering designs and architectural decisions

- Hands-on LLD and HLD

- Experience in establishing credibility with smart engineers quickly

- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-tasking development environment

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, impeccable organizational and time management skills

- Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results

- Agile, proactive, comfortable working with ambiguous specifications

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, quantitative studies, such as Statistics, Math, Operation Research, Economics and Advanced Analytics
