Practice Leader - Mobility (Global Operations)

This is Sathish, an Executive Search Consultant specializing in Senior Management talent search for a niche clientele in the USA and Europe

My firm - High Places International - has been retained by a Global IT Services organization to headhunt for various leadership positions in the US and UK.

I'm currently looking for a senior IT professional with extensive experience in Mobility to take up the lead role of "Practice Leader - Mobility" for the Global space with my client, based in Bangalore

Please find the job description:

1. Strong understanding of mobile OS, platform's, UI, Mobility Payment solutions, Location Based Services , eCommerce, Games, BYOD , Mobile device management , Mobile Security , End User Computing (EUC) etc.

2. Understanding Platform and relevant Product Engineering aspects

3. Strong background of coding, design, architecture skills including working knowledge of design patterns, libraries

4. Good understanding of cloud services and how they can be consumed and/or leveraged on mobile devices

5. Exposure to leading mobile platforms - iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, RIM - with deep expertise in at least one platform

6. Presales support in identifying, pursuing, closing sales opportunities, including proposal creation and presentation

7. Business Trends and Forecast Create and execute biz plan including GTM Identification and Management of Key Alliances Create service offerings, solutions, IP's

8. Define process, methodology and thought leadership

9. Fine tune service offerings and solutions based on customer needs

10. Create and demonstrate thought leadership in the Mobile space through POCs, White Papers etc.

11. Accountable for delivering solutions for sold engagements, provide technical leadership and delivery support for mobile engagements

12. Passionate, committed, dedicated, self-motivated, entrepreneur mind-set

13. Strong Leadership Skills Ability to collaborate with other practices (e.g., Testing, Cloud, Virtualization, Analytics etc.) and arrive at win-win solutions

Desired Profile

1. Bachelor's degree with 12 to 19 years of experience and minimum 5+ years experience in ( Mobility ), hands-on Architect, Designing and Implementing

2. Candidates should have experience in business development & presales

3. Experience in estimating large scale, complex mobility solutions/proposals

4. The candidate should have broad IT service experience

5. Thought leader in providing full lifecycle best practices around process frameworks, requirements gathering, design & implementation

6. Detailed oriented and able to multi-task effectively

7. Strong market awareness and excellent communication skills are essential

8. Requires ability to focus on execution in a multi-cultural environment

9. A good understanding of the global solution providers and industry forums , market and competitive trends

10. Extensive experience in setting up tool implementation and creation of Knowledge management frameworks. Should be extensively hands-on from the perspective of delivery management.

11. Must have the demonstrated ability to write and present effective materials, including Presentations, Status reporting, Technical diagrams and Flowcharts.

12. Experience and Certification in Citrix / Microsoft is a must.
