Practice Leader/EVP/SVP - Renewable Energy - Insurance

Role Requirements

- Know how of the Renewable Energy Industry and Understanding on criticalities of the Industry

- Managing existing client relationships of the Renewable Energy Practice on a P&L basis, retaining and expanding existing client relationships..

- Understanding of claims advocacy

- Dealing with underwriters for client requirements and being well versed with different Indian insurers, their strength and weakness.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally. Identify key decision makers, clients or prospects risks needs and determines the services, products, and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect's issues and objectives..

Technical Skills

Deep Understanding of Industry, Government Body

General Skills

- Must be self-motivated & able to work independently.

- Ability to cut across teams, business functions and hierarchy within the organization to ensure rapid business growth for the Industry Practice.

- Ability to arrange and hold detailed conversations with CXOs and understand their latent requirements in order to further build strategic relations & partnerships.

- Ability to independently initiate and manage end to end client acquisition cycle.

- Must have strong decision-making skills and the determination to see projects through to the end

Preferred candidate profile

Prior Experience

- 10+ years of experience in insurance industry.

- Experience of team handling in Insurance/ any sector.

- Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.

- Ability to manage diverse client cultures i.e. Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation and PSU clients.

- Prior experience in property and large risks underwriting

- Renewable Energy Experience Preferred.

Education/Qualification

- MBA/Engineer from a reputed B-School
