Cloud Engineering Practice Leader
The Cloud Practice Lead will be accountable for driving the next level of growth, strategic positioning, and P&L management of the Cloud Technology practice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with Executive Leadership on formulating differentiated partnership, co-selling, GTM, business development and account management / account growth strategies for the practice, driven by differentiated solutions & services offerings
- Drive strategic account growth and be responsible for the delivery of cloud services to prospects and clients
- Expand the business within existing accounts and help clients, by building and sustaining strategic executive relationships, doubling up as their trusted business technology advisor
- Work with Sales and Pre-Sales on business development activities
- Position differentiated and custom solutions to clients, based on the market trends, specific needs of the clients and the supporting business cases
- Provide proactive support to clients and prospects to ensure their successful adoption of cloud and partner technologies
- Build new cloud capabilities, solutions, assets, accelerators and team competencies by leveraging hyperscaler partnerships
- Evangelize the cloud technology and offerings to both internal/external stakeholders
- Manage business relationships with the hyperscaler partners & start-up eco systems and demonstrate edge over competition
- Develop a compelling multi-cloud and cross-cloud services strategy and develop propositions that leverage industry experience
- Manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary
- Manage relationships/agreements with external clients/vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 15+ years of experience in delivering solutions using Agile Methodologies
- Proven relevant experience as a delivery head or practice head building cloud capabilities and services
- Prior experience of playing a leadership role in Cloud transformation programs
- Experience working with a matrix organization of sales, delivery and marketing teams across the globe
- Extensive experience working with the major hyperscalers. Deep expertise in GCP is a plus
- Proven business partnering and relationships skills
- Experience in working on proposals, presales activities and business development
- Results driven, digital native, with extensive experience in cloud technologies
- Resilient and resourceful, not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Thriving in a multicultural and multi-locations environment
- Excellent presentation skills to be able to accommodate conduct meetings with C-level clients
- Excellent leadership skills including influencing people, problem-solving skills, people management and visioning
- Build relationships with stakeholders within customers and build lasting relationships
