About the role:
The Practice Lead will be responsible for developing and growing the Web Analytics practice: By combining client engagement and presentation skills with genuine enthusiasm for Web Analytics technology and innovation, the successful candidate will relish the challenge of envisioning, prototyping and demonstrating ground breaking solutions to clients.
This role requires expertise in:
- Analyzing a client's web properties in order to formulate a web analytics strategy.
- Statistical analysis, enabling you to make sound inferences from large and noisy data sets.
- One or more web analytics packages, especially Google Analytics or Omniture. Professional certifications in these packages is considered an advantage.
- A/B testing, multi variate testing of web designs.
- Web technologies, web design and user experience design
This role also requires a person comfortable working alongside a team of content strategists, designers and developers as well as engaging with senior business people on their own terms.
As this is a team management role, you also need to be capable of:
- Manage delivery optimization within your team, Recruiting new members of your team.
- Mentoring team members, reviewing their career progress and planning their professional development.
- Setting business goals for the company's web analytics service, meeting these goals, and reporting to the board of directors on your progress.
- Defining and refining the services of web analytics practice, and collaborating to integrate these with our other services.
- overseeing analytics accounts delivered by Web Analysts with some delivery support by you, team member performance and development
Practice Leads are also expected to become active contributors to the company blog and to our participation in conferences and other industry events.
Required Skills and Experience:
We are looking for a person with at least 7 years’ experience in web analytics or a related discipline, who can demonstrate a clear potential to develop the Web Analytics team. You may have a background in business analysis, business intelligence or online marketing with extensive knowledge of the web.
- Atleast 7 years total work experience, agency and/or client-side: using web analytics tools, developing tagging requirements, analyzing data, and presenting findings
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Sitecatalyst , Test & Target and Google Analytics products, including a strong understanding of how to create, test and debug tags
- Plan and conduct A/B or multivariate tests (and knowing when to stop is a plus)
- Experience with social media measurement tools (Radian6, OpinionLab, Buzz Metrics, etc.) and SEO/SEM techniques a plus

Education Required:
- BE/B.Sc in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent combination of Experience, education and training will be considered
Certifications Required:
- Web Analytics certifications desirable, preferably related to Adobe
