Practice Lead - Veeva Enablement Role

Location: Bangalore

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and provide design Veeva based solutions that meet these requirements.

- Serve as the subject matter expert on Veeva applications, including Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, Veeva PromoMats, and other relevant products.

- Define the architecture and technical design for Veeva solutions, ensuring they align with best practices, scalability, and security standards.

- Design and oversee the integration of Veeva applications with other systems and data sources, both within and outside the life sciences domain

- Mastery of Vault's data model, object configuration, and advanced functionalities.

- Understanding of Veeva Vault APIs and integration capabilities..

- Ensure that Veeva solutions adhere to regulatory requirements in the life sciences industry, such as FDA guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

- Provide technical leadership to development teams, guiding them in the implementation of Veeva based solutions.

- Review and ensure the quality of Veeva solutions, conducting thorough testing and validation to meet client expectations.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and configuration details.

- Work closely with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and present solutions effectively.

- Understanding of regulatory compliance in the life sciences sector.

- Conduct code and design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural principles and quality standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Veeva applications with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, ERP, and data warehouses.

- Perform system performance analysis, tuning, and optimization to enhance the overall performance of Veeva applications.

- Stay updated with the latest Veeva releases, features, and industry trends to provide recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.

- Act as a subject matter expert on Veeva functionality, capabilities, and limitations, and provide guidance to business stakeholders on system capabilities and potential solutions

- Cross functional and cross divisional synergies for Veeva Vault products and associated software based on technical coherence

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Veeva systems, including Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, or other Veeva applications.

- Strong understanding of Veeva data models, configuration, and customizations.

- Proficiency in Veeva development tools, such as Veeva Configuration Workbench (VCW), Veeva Network, or Veeva iRep.

- Experience with Veeva integration methods and technologies, such as Veeva Web Services, REST APIs, or ETL tools.

- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or life sciences industry processes, compliance requirements, and regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Certifications in Veeva Administrator, Veeva Developer, or Veeva Architect are highly desirable

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on Veeva solutions, preferably in the life sciences industry.

- Knowledge of Veeva data models, configuration, and customization capabilities.

- Experience with Veeva integrations using APIs and middleware solutions.

- 15+ years' experience.

- Working knowledge of Regulatory Operations processes (submission preparation, document management, submission publishing, product registration) and related software

- Demonstrable experience in successfully leading large-scale Veeva Vault implementations and practice development within the life sciences industry
