We have an opportunity for a Practice Lead - DevOps for one of our client.
Job Description:
Technology Experience:
- At least 12 years of experience in managing custom applications development and support. Familiarity with Agile programming methods, knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Java/J2EE, PHP, Ruby on Rails, HTML 5/XML, etc. required.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Cloud computing technologies, concepts and operational models, and knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS-Amazon Web Services & Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to translate industry trends and client feedback into high-value cloud service offerings that anticipate client needs and provide market differentiation.
- Working knowledge of OpenStack, Smartcloud Provisioning, Chef, Puppet, Git Hub, Jenkins, Jira, Ansible, etc. Preferably, worked on HP CSA and HP automation tools DMA, SA, OO, CDA etc
- Should have had prior hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and designing, implementing or supporting CI/CD process flows with Jenkins/Hudson.
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident and Problem Management methodologies
- Customer and Stakeholder management

Responsibilities:
- Manage and Grow the DevOps Practice including COE environments
- Own the technical delivery and the ultimate success of the customer engagements/projects
- Develop deep capabilities and technical expertise in Agile development methods and digital and cloud technologies. Build broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Support the Business Development team in helping to ensure success in selling the full portfolio of services (including building custom applications and services on digital and cloud platforms) using DevOps/Agile methods.
- Drive innovation and thought leadership through the DevOps COE whose focus is on building GTM assets and new service offerings and continuously improving existing offerings.
- Work closely with Sales, Pre-sales, Transition, Service delivery teams and key functions like HR, Finance, and Training department and support them as required.
- Ensure ISO/ITIL process compliance.
