JOB OBJECTIVE:
In this role the Practice Head will work closely with key constituents to establish a Practice in Security & Compliance. Strong emphasis on pragmatism, the ability to direct a team of Solutions Architects, and develop deep, effective relationships with Sales, Delivery, and Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Practice Management
- Providing overall leadership, direction and priority setting for the Practice
- Taking a lead role in deal management, pricing, and proposing business
- Process definition and improvement to drive operational efficiency and - return on practice-
- Build and maintain relationships with internal constituents including setting and managing expectations
- Mentoring and development of team members
- Communicating with senior management on account activity
- Direct and participate in activities related to vendor management as appropriate
- Service reporting, including key performance/goal indicators
- Meeting or exceeding revenue goals and sales activity objectives
- Collaborate effectively with other Practice Management to drive consistency and enable cross practice integration
Practice Development (Participate, Direct, and Manage)
- Understand business and processes in order to create new and valuable solutions that improve upon existing capabilities and offer business benefits.
- Stay current on relevant technologies and the IT Industry to incorporate them into solutions and evangelize those solutions.
Leadership in service and solutions development, marketing and sales on a global basis, includes:
- Identifying target markets and key solution differentiators
- Developing GTM strategies
- Working with Marketing and Sales to develop sales tools and collateral
- Provides business plan, investment justification and target market justification for new solutions
- Develops delivery methodologies, standard SOW- s, pricing methodology, proposal collateral, deployment calendars
- Provide thought leadership and evangelism for services & solutions representing client/market perspectives
Pre-Sales (Participate, Direct, and Manage)
- Partnering with Sales to educate and bring solutions to market in a consultative role
- Uncovering and understanding customer business drivers, working closely with the sales and the services team in developing and executing the strategic plan for accounts
- Interfacing with CxOs, IT Directors and Business Owners
- High level, targeted pre-sales support for account planning, development and penetration
- Estimating the financial impact of service and solution alternatives
- Providing high-quality documentation of scopes of work, RFP responses, and proposals
- Managing and growing client relationships in conjunction with sales and delivery
Delivery (Participate, Direct, and Manage)
- Providing billable field delivery leadership for solutions and transfer of knowledge to delivery teams
- Providing oversight and direction to delivery teams
- Partnering with Delivery to ensure appropriate skills development
- Training and coaching team members as appropriate
- Coordinating/participating in technical training and product updates with business partners
Competencies
Required Skills & Abilities-
- experience of core security / compliance domain experience
- Experience with Security technology and Compliance, Must be SME on Network Security product deployment, like Checkpoint / CISCO/ Juniper etc. etc.
- Strong understanding of one or more industry vertical domain security / compliance needs.
- Bring financial acumen to all areas of the Practice including structuring deals, developing solution pricing models, and managing return on the Practice
- Communicate complex ideas and topics to multiple audiences
- Work and communicate internally and with the customer at all levels, including engineers, end-users to senior leaders
- Visualize how technology and services can be applied to solve business problems
- Bring superior consulting skills to the client/prospect relationship with the objective of linking technology initiatives/investments with business value and gaining trusted advisor status
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (oral and written), excellent customer facing skills, strong judgment, and effective organizational and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, attitude of ownership, and a strong desire to learn

In addition to managing the Practice, the Manager must also be willing to play the hand-on role of Solutions Architect as required to establish this strategic and critical function. Beyond your own area of Practice responsibility you will need to maintain a clear understanding of the entire Infrastructure Management portfolio and collaborate actively and effectively with other Practice Management.
