Practice Head - Insurance - P & C
Position : Practice Head/Manager
Educational Qualification : MBA from a top business school. CPCU/LOMA/CII or similar qualifications is preferred.
Experience Range :
- The candidate should have at least 15 years of professional experience in the Insurance vertical of tier 1 IT provider or in a big four consulting firm with Senior Management level responsibilities. A deep understanding of insurance company operating models, and processes (i.e. claims, underwriting, policy servicing, Omni-channel management, digital marketing, etc.), industry trends, best practices and overview of regulatory/compliance issues.
- A good understanding and background in IT services, operational improvement, global sourcing, and quality management are essential. Knowledge of offshoring and onsite-offshore model is mandatory with US/UK and other international client exposure.

- Excellent problem solving, communication, and client management skills are essential. This role requires strong leadership skills and demonstrated capabilities of being a thought leader.
- The candidate must be able to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, and be high on Drive and initiative, Self Confidence.
- Should be able to conceptualize, analyze, create blueprint for business transformations and present solutions in the insurance or wealth management domain.

- The Practice Manager is expected to be a leader in Insurance Advisory Group and will be responsible for driving strategic thought leadership, consulting solutions, and technology and business process services WITH insurance clients. He/ She will be accountable for:
- Manage domain practices including Life, P&C and Wealth Management
- Drive thought leadership to the domain practices
- Provide SME/consulting services to our clients
- Build domain competency in the insurance vertical of the organization
- Conceptualizing, developing and delivering strategic consulting engagements
- Leadership responsibilities for managing consulting teams, setting senior level client expectations, thought leadership, strategic problem solving
- Leading efforts in creating industry and practice knowledge, leading business research, developing position papers and white papers, and participating / presenting at industry conferences
- Integrating solutions from across the company and bring them together in a seamless client experience
- Work closely with our large account teams to hunt and harvest new opportunities using domain/consulting as tip of the arrow
- Identify product and service partnership opportunities critical to integrated solution delivery
- Enhance brand as a thought leader by representing as a speaker at major conferences, participating in reputed industry blogs and contributing articles to leading publications as required.
