As the Practice Head for our BPM and Automation practice, this role will be responsible for working closely with the business to ensure that their ongoing and future process and technology investments for optimization and efficiency gains are well aligned with industry standards and business strategy enabling desired benefits via incremental/transformative opportunities.

- Support and develop Business Process Management (BPM) and Automation strategy agenda for the company. Develop, mature & execute the BPM and Automation methodology, framework, practices within company for the broader businesses and enterprise.

- Communicate and interact with all departments and operating groups to recommend business solutions and assist in the fulfillment of objectives for system requirements and the resolution of problems, as necessary.

- Needs to develop framework to create / manage process inventories across the organization, build a scalable and sustainable operating model to manage them.

- Needs to have advanced hands-on experience as an automation leader and subject matter expert. Understand external trends and adopt practices to help the company to solve the enterprise business problems through automation solutions.

- Should have managed, built, transformed automation agendas for BFSI sector and have extensive experience in leading automation teams, vendor partners, automation tools, software, licensing, etc.

- Curiously inquires and learns more about technology and trends. Standardize when appropriate and differentiate where opportunities present.

- Drive efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity and build strong mechanisms to track value derived from these initiatives for business and stakeholders, both qualitative and quantitative.

- Preemptive and proactive Risk management by enabling first line of defense by adopting and driving execution of operational risk management framework within company automation operations in alignment with CIO Council outcomes/vision.

- Ability to build governance practices and principles to support business service delivery, manage customer escalations, and incident management.

- Develop deep understanding of company service value proposition to help enterprise partners leverage service based on the need.

- Display commercial mindset and leadership maturity around harnessing support through influence and building relationships.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to better serve clients.

- Skilled in managing global stakeholders in varying maturities across geographies and navigate the global matrix organization through listening, collaboration, and influence.

- Drive culture of high performance and inclusiveness, process improvement and transformation to drive value and optimization.

- Significant people management and partnership capability, be able to lead and manage an aspiring team of highly skilled and tenured staff.

- Build and foster an environment of transparency. Encourage experimentation, continuous learning among staff. Build talent and succession plans for key roles. Proactively advocates with the staff the value and power of our automation engineering qualities.

- Raise the performance bar, clearly articulate roles, and expectations. Develop and mentor leaders helping to provide broader exposure to all areas of the company. Actively participate in getting employees involved in immersion opportunities and rotations. Participate and provide input to corporate committees.

- Displays big picture thinking with an ability to be hands on during times of transformation and change and provides directional coaching ....

Total years of industry experience: Minimum of 20 years+ professional experience, preferably with BFSI international GCCs or service providers. We seek a seasoned automation leader who has led, built, and transformed similar practices in global environments.
