This person will be responsible for setting an innovative brand and industry-leading marketing strategy, budget and disciplines of the marketing department for POSist.  Responsibilities:  Strategy:  - Plan, develop and lead all aspects of marketing in order to achieve the POSist's strategic short and long-term sales growth, revenue and profitability goals.  - Drive and implement all marketing activities to ensure on-brand positioning and awareness across all aspects of the marketing mix, inbound and outbound including: brand marketing, lead generation, content marketing, sales enablement, public relations, partner and channel marketing, digital marketing, creative services, customer and internal communications, event marketing and social media.  - Ensure service offerings remain competitive, complete, and timely.  - Build the web and mobile application development strategy and continue to leverage evolved technology and Internet marketing tools.  Research and Information:  - Utilize critical marketing and competitive research to segment and define target markets.  - Refine and improve the value proposition and implement the best market-penetration strategy.  - Develop and implement POSist's marketing strategy via the gathering and analyzing of relevant market research as well as speaking with customers to understand what they need and want.  - Conduct marketing research (gather and measure customer, market and competitor data) to identify and differentiate existing and potential product/service, channel and market segment opportunities for growth.  - Monitor and analyze market and competitor activity, recommending the right course of action for the business.  - Responsible for competitive analysis, strategies and tactics.  Product/Service, Direction, Competition:   - Develop, implement and coordinate media advertising plans, collateral plans and internet initiatives.  - Determine market needs and generate product/service requirements and definition for development.  - Responsible for services- positioning, packaging, and definition.  - Leverage the business model to expand beyond the core business.  Marketing Operations:  - Develop a high performing marketing team utilizing both in-house and freelance talent.  - Ensure timely and effective execution of the marketing programs.  - Establish targeted customer value propositions and execute go-to-market strategies across all targeted market segments to meet Posist's objectives.  - Work closely with the sales department to deliver on the sales targets and support the sales distribution plans with evolved marketing tools and programs.  - Actively monitor marketing results, budgets and revenue forecasts to ensure achievement of goals and forecasts.  - Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics and reporting, including delivering the annual marketing business plan and operating budget.  Qualifications:   - Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and/or 4 + years of related experience in a leadership role in marketing strategy within a customer oriented B2B / SaaS environment.  Personal Attributes:  - Experience building the brand of a technology company.  - Demonstrated experience in building world-class marketing talent.
