Manager-Portfolio Tracking role with leading MNC

Role: Manager

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 7-11 years

Qualification-Post Graduates required.

Skill requirement:

- Deep understanding of retail banking portfolios/products

- Understanding of possible impact (volumes, forecasting, etc) on decisions such as pricing

- Policy and strategy recommendations for portfolios

- Develop reports and dashboards

- Strong communication, stakeholder management

Deliverables:

1. Identify issues and opportunities relating to performance of the product portfolios, policies, strategies and reporting.

2. Develop a detailed understanding of product management, the Westpac product portfolios and the underlying systems and data. Make recommendations to aid strategy development, improve analytical techniques and resolve data integrity issues.

3. Work with reporting team to enhance quality and value of reporting and increase analytic skills of the team. Providing support, direction, strategic and operational planning, team building, service and performance analysis including problem resolution

4. Reporting – Assist in the creation and ongoing updates of reporting suites for the product portfolios.

5. Data and Systems – Extraction and cleansing of data from group data warehouses including a good understanding of the underlying source systems.

6. Analytical Projects – Portfolio performance analytics that enable product portfolio profitability targets to be released through effective management of revenue, cost and economic capital drivers.

7. Business Cases – Involvement in the development of financial business cases including defining benefits targets and realisation strategies.

8. Forecasting – Involvement in the monthly forecasting process including implementing improvements to existing models and liaison with the product teams and finance to agree forecast results

9. Adhoc Analysis - Attending to individual requests for information and reporting.

10. Project Management - Responsible for managing small analytical projects, resources, set time frames for delivery, identify all tasks required and deliver projects to deadlines
