Portfolio Manager Proprietary Investments - Oman Main Role (Overall accountability) : - The Portfolio Manager will lead the Proprietary Management Group which is responsible for managing the proprietary investments portfolio of the Bank. - The Portfolio Manager will undertake portfolio management activities including formulation and review of investment strategy and the identification, evaluation, selection, execution and monitoring of investments in accordance with the investment strategy document and the directions of the Investment Committee. Position Requirements : Experience & Education : - A minimum 5+ years relevant employment history that includes professional portfolio management and investment experience in asset management - Finance or business degree from a reputable college with strong academic credentials Specialized knowledge/skills & personal attributes ; - Knowledge of local and regional markets, available investment products, and investing strategies - Strong financial analysis skills including financial modeling - Broad range of computer skills and advanced knowledge of Bloomberg platform. - Quantitatively adept; able to understand and effectively communicate quantitative information, verbally and in writing - Report writing skills, presentation and communication skills preferably in English and Arabic
