Portfolio Manager

The Portfolio Manager role involves the credit analysis and portfolio management of CDF's portfolio including portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, compliance/covenant testing, financial reviews, drafting of memos and presentations, etc. The successful candidate will work closely with CDF's global team members located in Charlotte and London. The role involves significant opportunities to learn, develop and work as an integral member of the business.

Responsibilities:

- Financial statement spreading & detailed analysis on financial performance and trends

- Review of monthly/quarterly servicer reports for errors and to monitor facility performance including borrowing base calculations, trigger testing, covenant compliance, underlying asset performance, etc.

- Gathering, entering and reviewing data for regulatory reporting

- Preparing seller servicer memos for facility and borrower performance

- Write one page summary analysis of leveraged loans

- Preparing monthly and/or quarterly surveillance decks

- Maintaining various databases and spreadsheets for internal reporting

- Training & mentoring junior colleagues along with reviewing, checking & overseeing and undertaking workload planning

- Compute ratios using financial statements of leveraged loans

Minimum Qualifications:

- At least a B. Com/PG or an equivalent qualification

- Experience working in financial services such as at an offshoring firm, a captive of a foreign bank or Indian bank in a relevant capacity or a credit rating agency

- Advanced Excel and analytical skills

- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Ability to clearly & concisely speak on complex topics, as well as strong business writing skills

- High level of personal motivation, strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work across continents

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production
