One of our Financial Services Clients having a Project Finance business has the following requirements for a Professional within the Business :

Key Responsibilities

1] Handle all post sanction activity of Project finance deals. Liase with Relationship team, Analyst team, Legal team and Risk team to carry out various desk activities.

2] Intensive pre construction and operational period monitoring of the Projects. Carry out Project site visits and regular discussion with LIEs to track physical progress of the Project. Liase with external agencies such as LIEs, Participant Banks, Escrow Agents, Insurance Agents and Regulators.

3] Ensuring post disbursement compliance with approved terms and conditions, assignment of rights, review expiry of credits, insurance copies, end use certificates, post disbursement security creation etc and all the post sanction monitoring required for the Project.

4] Carry responsibilities of a lead bank and facility agent in consortium financing which includes issuing LCNs, facilitating participating bank disbursements, coordinate LIE site visits and holding consortium meetings.

5] Monitor and manage escrow accounts and facilitate internal escrow teams for smooth functioning of escrow transactions. Obtain construction period and operational period budgets from clients and ensure for Approval of the same.

6] Ensure compliance with the internal policy, credit approval terms & conditions regulatory ratio / policies for all the deals.

7] Prepare and maintain monitoring sheets. Monitor all irregularities and over dues.

8] Highlight early warning signals if any to top management and work on the rectification plans.

9] Develop understanding of Sectors by regularly interacting with regulators, companies, secondary research and keep abreast with the latest development in the Sector.

10 Carry out timely review of facilities, prepare appropriate notes and obtain required approvals for various client requests.

11] Closely work with existing clients and support origination work for new deals.

Required Years of Experience:

1] 2-6 years in similar profile

2] Those with experience in the Corporate Finance teams of Large Corporates where they perform above functions for Projects being developed by the Corporates may apply

3] Professionals from Project Finance Advisory firms with experience and interest in above role may also apply
