- Understand the overall strategy of the firm with respect to each asset class including Equity, Debt, and Alternative Investments and further update understanding through secondary research on asset classes and specific financial products.
- Actively debate the investment solutions and strategies suggested by the Product team and reason out suitability of products for respective client portfolios basis Market strategy.
- Interact with clients to explain and to regularly update the portfolio activity.
To further discuss markets / investment products and other products from competition.
To be able to advise and recommend on third party products, apart from in house products. Will need to develop reasonable understanding/expertise in each product category.
Take full responsibility of portfolio performance.
- Formulate and regularly update the asset allocation plan and investment templates for all advisory clients of the firm.
- Perform periodic investment portfolio reviews including attribution analysis & benchmarking and present the same by way of presentations / proposals.
- Prepare new Pitches for fresh Acquisitions that justify the value add that Portfolio Advisory and Wealth Management bring to a potential clients portfolio.
- Familiarity with practical aspects of capital markets- behavior and various investment products/solutions based on the same
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfort in discussing investment and financial concepts with Ultra High Net Worth individuals.
- Proficiency in calculation related to financial metrics for example XIRR, CAGR, WACC
