POM Specialist - Procure To Pay Module - Manufacturing Firm

BNC is hiring PTP-POM Specialist for manufacturing client

PO Processing:

1. Identify and understand purchase requisition requirements and comparative statement.

2. Interpret documents pertaining to terms and conditions of trade from the comparative statement, other attached documents

3. Create/ Change POs in SAP on the basis of PR & comparative statement, by entering the details in SAP from CS, PR

4. Create POs of different categories like Raw materials, consumables, services, transport, CAPEX, spares & intercompany

5. Sending PO to vendors, and get the confirmation from the vendor, and sending the confirmation to the users.

MIS reporting:

1. Extract the required data from SAP S4 HANA

2. Prepare the required reports from the data extracted, and share to the required stakeholders

Query Handling:

1. Follow up on incomplete PR/ CS or any other documents with required stakeholders by email/ telephone and track the follow up process.

2. Handle queries from various stakeholders in the organization

Quality Assurance & SLA Compliance:

1. Ensure high level of accuracy in PO processing.

2. Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency in PO processing

3. Adherence to process SLAs

Teamwork & Communication:

1. Ensure a 'customer centric' and 'partnership approach' to develop strong relationships with other working groups.

2. Effective communication of issues across the BSC and working groups

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. B. Tech in Ceramic engineering with 3-4 years PQE experience in an industrial enterprise is must ( Specially from Refractory Industries )

2. Basic knowledge of refractory materials / Raw Material and competitors.

3. Knowledge of the internal core processes. (SAP S4-HANA)

4. Shared Service Centre understanding. Operating in muti-cultural organization.

5. People and Project Management Skills

6. Must have expertise in SAP S4 Hana and MS-Office

7. Fluency in writing and speaking English; every additional language will be considered an asset.
