Polka Pop is on an exciting path to change the beverage shelf in India forever by building India's first clean-label beverage brand. We're on a mission to make healthy living fun & accessible and we've embarked on that journey by building India's first homegrown flavoured sparkling water brand. Polka Pop Sparkling Water is a fun, fizzy, refreshing beverage with natural flavours & none of the bad stuff - sugar, sweeteners, calories and preservatives. It is the perfect all-occasion drink and can replace your soft drinks, "diet" soft drinks and in our opinion is the best mixer with all white spirits (yes, even Gin!)

About Role:The head of D2C requires an entrepreneurial mindset as you would own, build, manage and develop all our D2C channels. As part of the founding team, this role would require identifying opportunities and building long-term relationships to achieve sales & growth targets. As the head of D2C, you would also help manage the D2C P&L and set Polka Pop on the path of long-term sustainable growth. This would involve scaling up current channels, building for retention, budgeting spends, identifying new e-commerce trends and opportunities and implementing action plans. The customer is everything for us and given we have the unique position of being category creators, we will do our best to understand the customer, provide world-class customer service and build a strong relationship with them.
Deliverables:We are looking to grow revenue across our D2C channels by 10x by the end of Mar '23
Job Description: - Own the D2C P&L (revenue, margins, profitability) for sales through website & third party e-commerce partners and marketplaces.Build out a solid retention strategy across these channels and help implement the same
- Forecasting & building growth strategy while coordinating with creative, ad and performance marketing team
- Working with the sourcing & operations team to ensure smooth supply and allocation of stocks across all platforms.
- Building out world class end-to-end customer experience with seamless operational performance
- Building deeper engagement with the e-commerce platforms for business growth and achievement for planned volume and value growth whilst growing the market share/ share of voice for the brand across platforms
- Driving new product launches, campaigns and collaborations with marketing and digital for impactful brand presence leading to business
- Discover and identify new channels, negotiate contracts, test and build new accounts as needed
- Hire & build a stellar D2C team who are all self-starters and will push you hard as and when the need arises
Requirement- Prior experience in a similar role handling Ecommerce end-to-end (minimum 4 years)
- Preferably MBA/PDGM from top B school
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thrive in matrix environments and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders (Amazon, Flipkart, Instamart, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions
- Experience in D2C or e-commerce industry is Mandatory
