Policy Manager - Risk Management - Bank

Job Role

The role holder is responsible for Risk Management of Loan portfolio for Affordable Home loan and Home Loan of Retail asset loans. Job profile includes assessment of portfolio, assessment of Business risk, Product risk, Industry risk, Automation of Policy based rules for underwriting Platform, Profitability assessment of specific segments and due diligence of credit processes and integration. Job holder is responsible for ensuring the growth of portfolio in right direction within the Risk appetite of the bank.

The role holder interacts and coordinate with all the control functions and respective stakeholders of the Bank as well as co-lender's institution like Credit Risk/ Business/ Audit/ Analytics /Product/ Operations/Technology for effective and efficient delivery and controls of project and process within specific timeliness.

Job Responsibilities :

- Credit Risk Management of Affordable Home Loan and Home loan portfolio.

- Simplification of processes through automation and digitization projects.

- Strengthening Systems, Controls & Processes for robust compliance.

- Superior & Consistent Customer Service.

- Management discussion with Bank / NBFC who is proposing to sell pool. Management discussion is done to understand the sourcing, underwriting, portfolio management and collection process.

- Formulation of Credit policy within regulatory parameters and risk appetite of the bank

- Ensure Implementation and adherence of Credit Policy through training of credit and operations team on the policy parameters and consistent guidance on the clarifications on product and policy parameters.

- Prepare monthly newsletter - snapshot of Portfolio performance, monthly acquisition trend, quality of co-lending portfolio and trigger monitoring.

- Identify areas of improvement in existing processes of credit underwriting, risk. management and operations and its implementation.

- Responsible for monitoring quality of the portfolio by monitoring infant delinquencies, NPAs and stress accounts.

- Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) reporting to Operational Research function.

- User Acceptance Test (UAT) of integrated systems.

- Support system changes to improve quality of data and ease of process.
